The Story is not over

The Story is not over

You’ve carried a great deal, haven't you? Perhaps more than anyone around you realizes.

Perhaps more even you sometimes realize yourself until you reach a point where the heaviness of it pushes you down a little too hard.

Some chapters leave marks on us; mistakes, detours.

Dreams that didn't unfold the way we imagined.
Moments where we lost our way.
And moments where we almost gave up entirely.

It's easy to believe that these chapters define us. But they don't.

Most lives are not defined by their worst chapter, but rather, they are defined by what they choose to do after it.

As a business owner of Dreamers' Side, I myself have written and rewritten my direction more times than I can count. There were seasons I felt certain, and seasons I questioned everything. There were moments I wanted to walk away completely. And plenty times, this cycle of heaviness and doubt revisit me over and over again.

Yet somehow, by Allah's mercy, I kept returning, not because I always knew where I was going, but because I trusted that the story wasn't over. I’m not even the author of it to determine that it’s over upon my whim. The ultimate author has written, and submitting my trust to Him, anchoring my hope for the path ahead in Him, is the biggest mercy and relief.

Perhaps you needed that reminder too - that the chapter you're in today is not the entire book.

The setback is not the ending; the mistake is not the defining.

The delay is not binding, the heartbreak is mere refining.

The uncertainty is just the beginning.

As long as Allah S.W.T continues to wake us each morning, there is still another page waiting to be written.

And sometimes, what feels like a closed door is simply the beginning of a chapter we cannot yet understand.

So if you're carrying regret, disappointment, exhaustion, or uncertainty today, be gentle with yourself.

There is still another dua to make.

Another lesson to learn.

Another chance to begin again.

Another opportunity to return. And masyAllah how beautiful and divine it is to return (taw bah) and return, over and over, again and again, to the one ever waiting for us to return to Him.

And with your return, begin again.

So as you are carrying the heaviness within you, I hope you'll remember this:

You are more than the chapter you're currently in…more than the mistakes in your past and present that you subconsciously believe limit who you are and can be.

More than the disappointment that you see within yourself, even more so than others see of you.

More than the season you're struggling through, and the many seasons you have endured and survived before.

The chapter you're in today is not the entire story.

You are still growing.
You are still learning.
You are still becoming who Allah intends you to be.

Perhaps the most beautiful chapters have yet to be written,

And the best part of it all, is it’s written by an author whose depth of grace and mercy goes beyond the comprehension of any mortal mind.

The story is not over.

With love,
